Question: Which video game is best for building cities and towns?

I remember a game MANY years ago where I could build my own office building. I had to keep it running I just don't remember the name. Now I am looking for a game where I can build my own city or town. I don't care much about the making characters... but if I could model the building also... it would be great. I already have The Sims... it can be for Xbox360, Wii or for the comp. Thank you!

Back in the day I used to play the Sim City games. The best one to get would be 3000: Unlimited. They are so simple yet so addictive. Definitely worth it. Plus they would be dirt cheap now.

Sim City isn't bad (not Sims), and it is cheap, you can probably get a copy for about $10, and I had fun at it for a while.

Tycoon Games are the best. But you can only play it on PC. (unsure)

You can try the Caesar series.It is a very funny city building game.
