Question: Pretty much every guy loves video games right?

I'm a guy, I love video games and have been playing since I was really young, I'm 17 now still love em. I used to play Battlefield 1942 now I'm playing BFBC 2 I love the series, own them all. I also love sports and exercise, skateboarding, just having fun. So why is it that people get called a no life, nerd, loser etc for just playing video games. I have lots of friends and I'm a good guy and I hate it when some of my gamer friends get called this, I am a gamer but I don't look like one and don't play nearly as much as them but I am one. So I just wanted to know if you've been called this or told this, or if your the kind of asshole that does this.

I agree with you. its really kind of dumb. the most annoying part of it is that the people who say "oh your a loser " have either never played the game your talking about, or they played it and they sucked at it. idk, im a chick, so usually i get "OMG A GAMER CHICK??? CAN I HAVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER??? " but my fiance gets shit all the time. luckly most of his friends game as much or more than he does so he has people he can hang out with and not get shit for. i gotta add one thing though. my fiance and i both play WoW, and both of us get crap about it. the one thing i REALLY do not understand is that the people who usually call us losers for playing WoW at ALL, are the same guys who will go play CoD for 8 hours a day and act like THAT is no big deal. how is me playing WoW for two hours any worse than somebody playing CoD for 8 hours? and i play CoD too, so i REALLY dont get it

Well I'm a girl, and I play quite a few video games. In fact I get called those names all the time.
