Question: Girl that plays video games?

Okay so i'm a girl that plays video games and all my guy friends think i'm weird because of it and tease me about it. I guess i don't exactly look like a 'stereotypical' girl that would play video games (sorry for the labels i hate having to categorize) and i was brought up by my dad so i enjoy video games and anime as much as i enjoy shopping or sleepovers. I play games like WoW, Kingdom Hearts, Bioshock etc. Is it that weird for a girl to like these things? lol, it's not so much shopping, more hanging out with my girly friends whilst shopping

Of course it isn't. I'm a girl and I like all the same things. Except shopping, it's not all that much fun for me. :)

Nah, I would definitely be playing WoW but I know I would get addicted. Diablo was a serious phase. I enjoy video games, and I don't particularily like shopping. Maybe it has something to do with growing up with two older brothers though...

NO! of course not. im sick of all the girls at my school who think videogaming is for boys only, and the main problem is that as my school is very sporty, none of the gamers in our school are even considered as "boyfriend " material, even the good looking ones. We have a video games club. its 100% male, most of us dont like sports, but we go out in the evenings and have a good time... until all the girls from our school make us look like dorks by ratting us out to everyone! people can be who they wanna be, you aren't weird, you are just one of the few people in this world that doesn't go with stupid trends that make you not able to do what you like. peer pressure sucks, and you beat it, well done, i hope you enjoy your gaming!

Not at all. I've played games since i was about 5 years old, and i don't think it's weird. My fiance thinks it's great, we sit in the evenings and play games rather than sitting watching a movie.

No, no its not weird. my 15 year old sister play's video games such as kingdom hearts and you wouldn't tell by looking at her. I'm 18 and still play kingdom hearts, now That's weird. LOL keep on gaming if it makes you happy. :)

Oh...c'mon you just have to do a simple thing that do not listen to those ppl at all....!!! just do what you want..!!! even i am a girl..and i enjoy spending time playing video games..mush more than that of shopping and sleepovers..!!! its not your fault that you like playing v.games..!!! by the time....when you'll get bored of playing v.g, you'll start shopping..!!!!...sooo..plzz dont worry..!! and dont bring such thoughts 2 ur mind..!!

It's nothing wrong for a girl to like video games its kind of cool to have a girl who likes video games i have like 3 girls i know who like modern warfare 2. but probrably in the far future girls maybe accepted for playing video games....(whispering) maybe there might some cool games made for girls. but stand tall and be proud that yur a GAMER CHICK!!!!
